Blue Yeti¶
Blue Yeti showing as USB Advanced Audio Device¶
This is cause the EEPROM on the Blue Yeti has been wiped. Instructions to fix:

Get firmware from eeprom/firmware.bin or get a friend to extract it
- To extract it: follow the steps below, but select
EEPROM -> FILE

Config6400.exe
tool- This comes from the Samson Technologies link above
- In Device Manager
- Select the Mic (
USB Advanced Audio Device
) - Details
- Last known parent
- Extract values after
VID_
andPID_
- Mine are
08dc
and016c
- Select the Mic (
- Fill in the values at the bottom of the Config tool
- Press
FILE -> EEPROM
- Select the
.bin
file - Re-plug the device
- Should be fixed
